“Live in each season as it passes; breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit, and resign yourself to the influence of the earth.”
- Henry David Thoreau, Waldon
Along with our main offerings, Brewery Outré will produce a unique beer for each season. These beers will reflect the traditions of each season and showcase the available ingredients. Recipes may change from year-to-year and the best ideas will become part of our year-round offerings.
Blanc Slate IPA
An incredibly unique IPA brewed a blend of Empire Pilsner and Pale malts, fermented with Sauvignon Blanc grape juice, and dry-hopped with Hallertau Blanc and Citra.
This beer-wine hybrid can best be described as drinking somewhere between a Juicy and a Brut IPA -- bursting with aromas and flavors of mango, lime, and nectarine, but finishing like a crisp, dry white wine. 6.5% Alc by Vol.
Brewed with a base of Pale and Munich barley malts from Empire Malting Company, cold-extracted Chocolate malt is added to create a robust winter saison-style ale. Fermented with Merlot grape juice and lightly aged on new American Oak.
The result is aromas of Black Cherry, Plum and spicy Saison yeast notes. Flavors of chocolate and fruit up front fade to a dry, red wine-like finish with a touch of vanilla and oak tannin. 8.2% Alc by Vol.
