KCBW: Beer & Cheese Pairing

Brewery Outré and KVCC's Sustainable Brewing Program have partnered to brew a collab beer for release during Kalamazoo Craft Beverage Week! To celebrate, we've prepared a flight of three cheeses from The Cheese Lady of Kalamazoo and three beers, served with Sarkozy Bakery crackers.

About the event

Brewery Outré and Kalamazoo Valley Community College's Sustainable Brewing Program have partnered to brew a collab beer for release during  Kalamazoo Craft Beverage Week! For this brew, we chose the unique and oft overlooked English ESB, a traditional pale ale, brewed with the best continental malts and English hops.

To celebrate the release, we've prepared a flight of three cheeses from The Cheese Lady of Kalamazoo and three beers (including the ESB, of course), served with Sarkozy Bakery crackers.

  1. Yorkshire State of Mind, an ESB brewed in collaboration with KVCC's Sustainable Brewing Program, paired with Barber's Vintage Reserve Cheddar, a 24-month aged English farmhouse cheddar.

  2. Rosé Sour, our colorful Zinfandel sour ale, paired with Hudson Valley Honey Goat Cheese.

  3. Stout Like Me, our oatmeal stout, paired with Espresso Bellavitano an Italian farmstead-inspired cheese with a rind coated in espresso.
